2022 Ohio River Sternwheel Festival Car Show

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to plan far in advance for the 2022 Ohio River Sternwheel Festival Car show.

This is a GREAT opportunity for OVJC to stand out and possibly bring more people into the club while getting our name out there. This car show was from 9am - 3 pm last year and I believe admission was $10. It was put on by the Rollin’ Oldies car club.

We Can meet at the old kmart parking lot around 8:00am and will head out around 8:15am to get a good spot where we can park all together. In order to stay all together on the way down, we are planning to go the back way to end up on 4th street then cut down onto butler to go to 2nd street.

Last year we had three jeeps for OVJC and we stacked them just for fun,turns out it was a HUGE success to the point we were featured on the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival’s facebook page as their main photo for the car show! It was also mentioned in that post that they, along with many other people, can't wait to see what we put on this year for the show and are looking forward to our club making another appearance.

If anyone feels comfortable doing so we can stack jeeps again, but if you prefer to keep four wheels on the ground that's perfect too! Again this is a CAR SHOW, so they ask for your jeep to be free of mud and be presentable for the event.

Bring your canopy’s, chairs, and coolers and come hang out for a few while enjoying the sternwheel festival amenities (the stromboli is amazing). Just a reminder, no alcohol is permitted since this is a family event.
